Disney Day!

B and I had an EARLY morning and headed to the park!  His friend from worked asked if I could get discount tickets and we decided to just sign them in with my pass that way we could enjoy a partial day at the park too!

We hit B's favorite ride first:  Splash Mountain!  He LOVES this ride!  I really, really, enjoy it and LOVE parts of it (it's based on the story of Brer Rabbit but no tar baby!) but dread the drops - especially the last one!!  Can you tell???

Since we were there early, lines were at a minimum.  So....we rode it again!
This time B decided to "pose" for the camera at the drop.  I turned around right before we went down and could not believe what I saw!!!

Can you imagine what that family thought when they saw the photo??!!!!

We then went on a few other rides before having lunch.
This is one of my favorite moments in a queue line - the pet cemetery in front of Haunted Mansion.  There was still no line but we were able to spend a minute looking - super funny writing!

We then headed to the Carousel of Progress and the Dream Home.
Very cool stuff!  A kitchen that could text and talk to you - a dining table that could sync to your smartphones, and digital changing artwork throughout the house.  We took a survey about what our "dream home" would, took our photos, and got this in my email:

We are ADVENTUROUS!!!

For lunch, we tried a new spot the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland.
They are known for their FRIED CHICKEN!  Look how much finger lickin' good food they gave!!!

And sweet tea!
Even though it was a bit odd.....they need me to help them :)

A quick glance at Sleeping Beauty's Castle on the way out:

And a quick visit from a friend!
And one of Mom's favorites.....

It's Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Di!
Yay!

And while headed back to the tram, a glimpse of the new entry to Disney's California Adventures!

The new entry and area is almost done!
A brand new Buena Vista street is being built - themed from Walt's time!

Good day!
Have you stopped laughing from the Splash photo??!  Geez Louise.  :)
