This picture deserved its own story.
Our new vending machines arrived at work this week.
There's nothing really normal about them. Moon cakes (really popular here), shrimp flakes, halls cough drops (if ever needed I suppose) and.....chicken feet.
The best part of this story is in looking at the new machine with my co-worker Laura, she said "Look, bamboo shoots if you want them!" And I replied, "those have toe nails."
Apparently they are pickled. And have green chiles in the package.
Wonder how long they will stay there.....
