Shanghai thru Brandon's iPhone

In making sure we document our overseas journey, it was time for a picture dump from Brandon's iPhone!

No Coke for Di :(

Enjoying ladies' fashions!

Home of the Whopper, Shanghai?

View from atop YuYuan Gardens.
Brandon had a friend in Shanghai for business that he went to school with and after making this purchase...

...the lady walked them up to the roof for a view!

Scary Hostel:

Grocery Store Exploring:

Ducks for eating!

Bund tour:

Random Shanghai Streets:

Check out that rock between the buildings!

Shanghai Pajamas!
Back in time, people of Shanghai would wear their pajamas as a status symbol of wealth.  If you could afford one set of clothes to wear during the day and one set of clothes to wear while you slept, you were very well off.  This tradition has pretty much died but you can still catch some Shanghai pajamas wandering the streets:

Different view of our neighborhood in Lujiazui:

Coke Zero!

From our bedroom window:

More sneakiness from the Warhol exhibit of photos I love:

Just LOVE this one of Andy at the Great Wall!!!

Super smoggy Shanghai:

Super hot Shanghai:

Men with shirts either pulled up over their bellies or none at all!

Misty Shanghai view...

while enjoying a date on the roof with his lovely wife ;)

Shanghai Science & Technology Museum Exterior
(fake market beneath the building, lots of bargaining happening!)

And one of the strangest places explored, Europe New Area:
(Pudong where we live is often referred to as 'Pudong New Area' because nothing was here 20yrs ago; small towns like this have begun popping up at the end of the metro lines to bring people outside of the city but as Brandon learned, it was a total ghost town with lots of dead fish!)

Deserted outlet mall; only two stores open!

Complete with strange naked statues:

Excalibur anyone???

told you....dead fish.

Teenie Weenie:

so says the shirt.....

Not happy with teenie weenie?
Upgrade in the drugstore!

Never seen this type of flippy-floppy!

How crowded the metro can get - like Times Square!

A new friend along the way.
Meet Chairman Mao:

And for a little taste of California, we visited 'CaliBurger' together which compares itself to Inn & Out!

You can't get the famous 'Animal Style' but you can get Wild Style!
However, only on the fries.....
D E L I C I O U S ! !  !

Till the next iPhone dump!
