There is a zoo, golf course, train museum, several picnic areas, horseback riding, Greek Amphitheatre, the famous Griffith Park Observatory, and...the Hollywood sign!
We rode the bike from our apartment and up the hill to the observatory. Tons of cars were parked on the sides of the roads but we kept riding; at the top, there was a large parking lot packed with cars. We circled through and luckily found a spot right at the front! But...when I got off the bike, I saw a line of cars, then back behind us: motorcycle parking! Oops! Sorry people, we just didn't see it! And since Brandon didn't want to find his bike knocked over when we decided to leave, he moved it over to the correct parking area. Now we know - and nice! Close parking at the observatory! Motorcycle that is....

But of course, after we got home.....we needed to run some errands. Target! We've been there at least twice every weekend, oh well. On this particular visit we had a visitor:

He hung on to the truck's window for a good couple of miles; poor little guy....or gal....
On our way back from Target...we found a Cost Plus World Market!! Yay!!! Brandon and I LOVE that place and their wine specials! See below:
