Yay for Mommy visits!
Mom flew in on the 7th to spend some time with us! B and I can't go home for Christmas this year (he has a new job at the dealership as an apprentice Subaru tech and I'm just not gonna leave him alone for a holiday!) so Mommy came to visit! I took several half days at work so we could spend as much time together as possible!
We did LOTS of shopping (I got an early bday present: dresser for the bedroom!!), lots of re-organizing (aren't moms the best for that!), a ton of present wrapping, and a day of Disney FUN!
Brandon has Thursdays off so we all headed to Disneyland together! The goal for Mom was to do things she hadn't done before so.....we rode Star Tours! (her first time seeing the new attraction and my work) we rode Mr. Toads Wild Ride! we rode Pinocchio! (Brandon just loved these, let me tell you ;) ) we rode the Disneyland train! we rode Splash Mountain! and finally, finally rode Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin! That ride has been closed or broken everytime I've been to the park - for the past two years!!! Unbelievable! But we finally got on it :) And we got an adult show - some lady wearing a sweater dress that she found in the junior section, so let's just say it showed more than needed at at family park!
Mom has always loved Dumbo!!!
Mmmm.....Gingerbread Mickey Mouse Beignets with Egg Nog cream! Yum!
Roger Rabbit, finally!
I'd say we did some shopping damage at Disney as well - just a peak of Mom's vinylmation collection purchase:
But only good deals, of course!
We shopped at the Company D store, our employee store where most everything is 50% to 75% off! Who wouldn't love that! We also shopped at the company store on my work campus. We got there early and virtually had the store to ourselves for an hour before more people showed up, it was great!!
And everything was wrapped before B got home from work, he he he!
A fun trip! Love you Mom!!!
